About The Movie:
Following the death of his wife and sons, small-town lawyer “Mac” McClain (Matthew Modine) has lost the will to live, but he sets aside despair to defend young Pete Thomason (Randy Wayne) in a high-stakes case involving first-degree murder. In this courtroom drama that finds Pete accused of killing his girlfriend, unyielding prosecutor Joe Whetstone (Bob Gunton) seeks the death penalty, and McClain pursues redemption for the boy and for himself.
