About The Movie:
The popular Broadway musical, adapted to film by directors David Greene and John-Michael Tebelak, retells the gospel of St. Matthew as it might happen in late-1960s Manhattan, as John the Baptist (David Haskell) gathers nine hippies and baptizes them in Central Park. When Jesus Christ (Victor Garber) joins in, a real love-fest begins, and the group joyously performs Biblical parables as they wander the city. Co-Starring Katie Hanley
