About The Movie:

With its Moroccan setting and native Bedouin actors, this film (which was directed by Ermanno Olmi) provides a unique retelling of stories from the Bible. In this first installment of the series, locals gather around a campfire to listen to an elder (Omero Antonutti) narrate the stories of the creation of Adam and Eve and their banishment from paradise, Cain and Abel, and Noah and the Ark.
